When we talk about a mature person we are referring to someone who has spiritually grown. Someone who is no longer driven by the standards of this world. Remember that as you are growing God is in control of your life, you are not the one to decide whether you are ready for the real food, God is shaping your new life into his own likeness. As a growing person you have to live by the bible. (Hebrews 5 14"solid food, on the other hand,is for adults, who through practise are able to distinguish between good and evil. Now that you are still young it is not yet time for you to eat the solid food, you have to drink milk. I am sure you are wondering and asking yourself what i am talking about. Ok by referring to milk i am talking about studying your bible and memorising the scriptures you have read, and solid food is living by the scriptures you have studied. You know that when a baby cries he/she is probably hungry. It is exactly like that with the spirit. Lets say for example you wake up at six a.m in the morning. Before you do anthing when you get out of bed, find a nice and quiet place in your home study your bible for about 30 minutes. I advice you to focus on the New Testament. I can give you some scriptures that i used to study as i was spiritually growing. You can start with Romans in the morning, at the afternoon Hebrews and at night Colossians.
